Locs were high lighted on the ends and re-twisted with “Twist and Loc Gel” at the roots. Then the Stylist saturated the locs with Styling Foam and rolled them up on bendable rods, dried and styled.

 Client had us cut more than 10 inches of her healthy hair to achieve this style and donate 10 inches of it to “Locs of Love”. This is not her first time cutting her hair to share! We used “Twist and Define” to give her natural curls a bit of hold and moisture. She will then use a mosturizer during the week to maintain her new look.

Our client wanted a totally new look, her hair was down to the middle of her back and it was dark brown. After evaluation and consultation we calculated a formula to achieve this desired color. Then we talked about a new haircut and decided that this would fit her facial features and her busy lifestyle. The Stylist gave her a bob with layers, then blew dry her hair and flat ironed it into style.

Look at the body and the movement in the picture, it was all created with this particular cut and color. At night, she will have to wrap her hair in order to wake up still looking good and also wear a plastic  shower cap while showering. This is the key to making her customized color and cut last, as well as returning to the Salon in 6-8 weeks for color re-touch and a trim. Her “At Home Hair Care Regimen” will consist of shampooing with Influance It’s Natural Organic Shampoo and Conditioner.

This client needed options! She was tired of relaxers, tired of her hair swelling up when the weather was humid and when she exercised. Still wanting to wear her hair straightened as well as be able to wear natural styles. The client did not want to be committed to a chemical service. This is one of our favorite little ladies and she sat still for this intricate style.  Each side is cornrowed towards the middle to create a mohawk style and the front was cornrowed towards the front to create bangs.  This style will last 2 weeks with the help of tying it up at night and wearing a shower cap in the shower or bath tub to not get it wet.  This client is definitely a princess, she is a pleasure to have visit our Salon.

Here we have a creative, protective, natural style. The child’s parents wanted her hair in a style that would last 1 to 2 weeks. She had her hair shampooed, conditioned, blown dry, ends cut (which makes it easier for the client to handle at home) cornrowed and french braided into 2 braids. The Stylist used Influance It’s Natural Twist and Lock Gel while braiding to help the cornrows last. This intricate style will keep as long as the child is wearing a satin bonnet, a My Crowning Jewel or a 100% silk scarf to bed. This will protect it from the cotton pillow case from absorbing her moisture and messing up her hair style while sleeping.

She will also wear a shower cap in the shower or while taking a bath to keep it from getting wet and this will allow the style to have longevity. Spraying the hair with Influance Oil Sheen and Conditoning Spray a couple times per week, will assure that her hair is moisturized and conditioned. If these few things are done, I can assure that this style still will look just as good on day 14 as it did when it was first done.

Our client wanted to have her hair lightened and her hair was naturally a medium brown color. She was chemical free, so it made it possible for us to achieve her desired color. After consulting and evaluating her hair, we then looked at where she was (her hair) and where she wanted to be and devised a formula. After de-pigmatizing her hair and selecting a suitable toner, we then achieved this beautiful color.

I saw her a few months later only to be happy with the fact that her hair is still healthy.
