Client Cancellation Policy

All cancellations, reschedules, or service changes require direct contact via phone/voicemail at least 48 hours before your appointment.

Any no-shows or late changes (under 48 hours) will result in a 100% charge for all booked services.

First Time Client Appointment Policy

All First time Clients are required to fill out and submit a “Your Hair Story” Form in its entirety, prior to your scheduled appointment.

All appointments require a credit/debit card on file to secure booking.

Your card will only be charged if you fail to provide 48-hour notice for cancellations, reschedules, or service changes.

By providing card information during booking, you consent to these terms.

Guest Etiquette

No additional guests permitted at appointments.

Our limited seating is reserved exclusively for clients receiving services.

Arrival Time

If running late, call us at 617-547-8098 at least 15 minutes before your appointment.

We’ll accommodate when possible but can only provide service within your originally scheduled time slot.

Full service charges apply regardless of arrival time.

Children

No non-service guests or children without appointments allowed.

Child clients must be “salon ready” (able to sit still).

If a child becomes disruptive, services will stop with full charges applied.

First-time child appointments may have parental assistance; otherwise, parents should remain seated or visit a nearby coffee shop/park.

Salon Preparation

Arrive with all protective styles (weaves, braids, twists, cornrows, crochet braids, etc.) completely removed and hair fully detangled.

We do not offer takedown services and removal is not permitted on salon premises.

Clients arriving with protective styles still intact or severely matted/tangled hair face appointment cancellation with 100% charge.

For best results after extended protective styling, remove one section at a time and detangle from ends to roots before your visit.

First Time Hair Color Clients

First-time color service clients must complete an in-salon skin patch allergy test 48 hours before their appointment.

This mandatory safety precaution helps us prevent allergic reactions.

At Home Hair Care Products

No cash refunds on products.

Exchanges allowed within 30 days of purchase with valid receipt if at least 50% of product remains in container.

New and Returning Customers

Tell us your hair story

All new clients and returning clients not seen in over 1 year must share their hair story prior to their appointment.
